
Stefani Pappas
Stephanie (aka Stefani) Pappas is a Yoga Alliance nationally registered (500 Hour Level R.Y.T.) Yoga Teacher, experienced teacher trainer,
as well as a Massage Therapist, and author of 10 books on yoga.
She has a Bachelor of Arts from Rutgers University, 1982. After working in the corporate telecommunications industry as a
consultant, writer, and technician for 10 years, she realized it was time
to let go and realize her soul's deeper purpose in life; teaching and sharing the world of yoga and movement.
Stefani has studied yoga, meditation, ethnic dance, breathing practices,
massage therapy and bodywork for 14 years with teachers from the East and West.
Her main spiritual teacher was Sri Sri Ravi Shankar from Bangalore,
India, and also His Holiness the 14th Dalai Lama of Tibet.
In 2001 Stefani founded Devalila Yoga Teacher Training. She has certified over 100 yoga teachers. The Devalila Yoga Teacher Training program
is a 200 hour level Yoga Alliance approved/registered program. Trainings are held in New Jersey and Mexico. Stefani was a volunteer yoga teacher at prisons in NJ and LA for several years, and is a member of Yoga on the Inside Foundation.
Stefani currently teaches her yoga classes, workshops, and
teacher training programs in New Jersey and Mexico. Stefani will travel to offer workshops for teachers. She also offers classes and workshops in
basic Belly Dance and has studied various ethnic dance styles including:Balinese, African, and Flamenco domestically and abroad.
